Kendall Craze VI update December 2, 2008 - 08:00 PM
We are only two days away from the opening pitch of the Kendall Craze VI. Registration finally closed last night, Monday, with a total of 41 teams throughout 4 divisions. Everyone is sure to see some of the best competition from throughout all of South Florida. We have welcomed teams from as far North as Royal Palm Beach (Piranaz), as far West as Ft. Myers (Bandits) and Naples (Spartans), and as far south as the Keys (Hurricanes). We are also glad to see so many returning Kendall Craze Champions such as the Miami Titans, Glades Nationals, Pembroke Lakes Bulldogs, Miami Angels, Leon Medical Center, NCP Patriots, Miami Curve, Kendall Indians, South Florida Snappers and Almendares. The Kendall Craze VI is sure to be the beginning of many newly formed rivals for the new year!
The Kendall Craze VI will be hosting games in three different locations. 10U and 12U will play all of their games at the Harris Field Sports Complex in Homestead. 13U will play all their games at Chapman Park in Pinecrest. Division 14U will play most of all their games at JD Redd park in Homestead and only two games in Chapman Park. Schedules are all posted and finalized. Please make sure you double check your schedule every day for any possible changes (ex. field numbers or opponent). If a game time needs to be changed, I will personally call the head coaches affected. However, I DO NOT FORESEE THIS HAPPENING!
You can expect to see the following vendors at each location:
Harris Field:20ft. trailer featuring the tournament specific t-shirts, Helmet Airbrushers, Bombers Batting cages sports equipment, Sport memorabilia, Live action photography and Sports Jewelry (available only on Sat.).
Chapman Field: Alex Fernandez's fully loaded Strikezone Sports trailer (available only on Sat.)
Tournament Director Robbie Roca (786-234-5610) will be available throughout the entire weekend at the Harris Field Sports Complex and JD Redd park. Asst. Tournament Director Michael Centeno (786-897-0224) will be at Chapman Park overseeing the 13U division. Tournament Commissioner Humberto Bencomo (305-491-0991) will be available to oversee games at the Harris Field Sports Complex.
Please contact any three of us if there are any issues or concerns that need to be addressed throughout the Kendall Craze VI.

Welcome to the home of the Kendall Craze Baseball Tournaments. Kendall Craze tournaments began in 2006 as a fundraiser for the Kendall Indians travel baseball club. The first Kendall Craze had a overwhelming response from over 60 teams throughout Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. With the success of the first Kendall Craze, immediate planning began for the Kendall CrazeII, III and IV. Each Kendall Craze's team participation has surpassed the previous. The Kendall CrazeIV had over 80 teams compete from divisions 8U thorough 14U. Tournament Director, Robbie Roca, contributes the Kendall Craze success to the great service and exciting atmosphere that has been the number one priority at each Kendall Craze event. Kendall Craze events take pride in offering superior service in order to assist not only participating teams, but their families too. Kendall Craze events also play host to many different vendors. Families have the opportunity to browse through the various stands such as Baseball trading cards, Professional helmet air-brushers, customized tournament t-shirts (team name's included), baseball equipment, state of the art live action photography and much, much, much more......

The Kendall Craze returns for yet another Christmas Craze!! Bring out the ballplayers and families to enjoy the Holidays playing in one of the most competitive and diverse tournaments in South Florida. The Kendall Craze VI will be held at the beautiful Harris Field Sports Complex, JD Redd Park ( Both in Homestead ) and Chapman Field ( Pinecrest ). The Harris Field Sports Complex is well known for its 200ft. fence dimensions. At this distance, similar to that of Cooperstown Dreams Park, excitement and realistic opportunities are created for players to hit home runs. Don't miss out...The Kendall Craze has taken South Florida tournaments to a new level of competition and prestige!!!!
Kendall Craze VI will be including all of the following:
***The prestigious Kendall Craze Cup will be awarded to both the Championship and
Runner up teams. ***Individual trophies will be awarded to both the Championship and Runner Up players. ***Home Run medals will be awarded to any player that hits a home run inside or outside the park. ***Special appearances by The Miami Maniac ( Mascot for the Miami Hurricanes ) and
Billy the Marlin ( Mascot for the Florida Marlins.

Tournament Structure:
*Three-game guarantee for all teams. Playoffs consist of a single-elimination format.
*Each team must provide one new and one used baseball per game. Baseballs will be available for purchase at the tournament
